It includes opening remarks by Judith Ramirez regarding the growing worldwide campaign by women for recognition and wages for their work in the home and family, and a speech by lesbian activist Ellen Woodsworth on being part of the fight for wages for housework – a fight that unites all women. Also included is an overview of the Mayday Rally organizing which gave the Wages for Housework campaign much greater public visibility.
