Women Unite 2001 This poster was created for the Canadian Auto Workers Union (CAW). The design depicts an illustration of seven brightly-coloured women standing in a circle with their arms around each other. A colourful background of photos of women labour activists surrounds them. This poster is the second “Women Unite!” poster commissioned by the CAW. The text at the top reads: “Women Unite!” and the bottom text reads “Sisterhood/Solidarité,” and the logo for the Canadian Auto Workers (CAW) / Travailleurs canadiens de l’automobile (TCA) Canada. Graphic design is by Joss Maclennan; illustration is by Marie Laville.
